Design: • Assist with the design, development, and revision of contract drawings using Civil 3D for highway and municipal projects. • Prepare cost estimates and technical design reports. Inspection/Supervision: • Serve as Civil Inspector/Ministry Representative on municipal and highway construction projects. • Inspect civil, structural, and environmental elements of construction projects to meet contract requirements, regulations, and permit specifications. • Review material quantities. • Familiar with Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, MMCD, and municipal supplementary specifications. • Document construction inspections through reports and photos to ensure projects are in conformance with contract plans, specifications and permits. • Coordinate with contractor representatives on schedules, contract estimates, records, and clarify questions regarding contract plans and provisions.
