Throughout my career, while at MITRE, Acuity and and in the several areas of Raytheon finance, I garnered not only a diverse set of skills within finance, but worked for different areas of each company which has given me a robust perspective which has made me and the organizations I supported successful.• Data and systems management: Whether in a program financials or budgets role, I believe that properly managing data creates efficiencies and delivers information in a timely fashion. While working for our Corporate Business Development (BD) & International group, I created more user friendly monthly variance reports for our senior managers and directors. In addition, the time building these reports went from more than half a day to an hour. Creating this efficiency was vital since the organization contained more than 60 cost centers domestically and internationally.• Emphasis on cost effective and strategic solutions: I have a passion for not only reporting efficiencies but using data for strategic purposes. While at Corporate BD, the group was Raytheon’s largest function with about $100 M in annual costs and a part of the corporate rates. A prior model allocated costs in a manner that was insufficient in providing explanations on changes in the base. I worked with accounting to build a new base model that not only provided those explanations but aligned costs more effectively when allocated back to our business units.• Ability to find needs and fill gaps: Leveraging my data modeling and finance skills, I have taken strong initiative to fill gaps where certain information is needed. While working for the SM3 production program, there was a need to provide a variance analysis for our material sales, roughly $600 M per year. To assist, I worked with supply chain and program management to implement a material forecast tool which helped the program better understand the sales plan and forecast and communicate monthly variances effectively.

   FP & A lead of the MITRE National Security (MNS) Sector supporting various financial reporting including sales forecasting and indirect and rates performance.• Successfully helped MNS, working the financial proposal, continue to receive multi year fee awards for its $1B DoD program three years in a row ($82M to date). • Drove entreprise decisions by implementing new rates impact model to analyze direct project cost impacts. • Partook in initiatives to manage investments to strategically align priorities and provide holistic multi year views.
