Series of reports on controversial civilian faculty cuts at the Air Force Academy led to the early retirement of the superintendent. Reporting only possible thanks to deep sourcing within the military, both active and retired, and staff at the Air Force Academy.Earned seventh Emmy nomination due to government reporting.Serving as the main political correspondent at KSNV, I covered everything from visits by President Biden, Vice President Harris, and former President Donald Trump to exclusive sit down interviews with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and the first TV interview with Nevada\'s Republican Governor Joe Lombardo after his election.In 2023, I was nominated for four Emmys including Reporter Craft, Politics and Government Reporting, Single Shift Report, and News Special. I was previously nominated in Continuing Coverage for my frontline wildfire reporting while based in Reno and for my Documentary film \"Victoria\'s Foil.\"\"Victoria\'s Foil\" was co-produced and directed during my tenure at Columbia, a 30-minute documentary on a wheelchair fencer and her struggles with a rare genetic disease, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.I previously helped launch TEGNA\'s national TV show, Daily Blast LIVE. First, as a digital editor. Then, as an on-air producer and reporter covering breaking news topics. My on-air reporting and hosting earned a national Telly Award.My writing has been published multiple times for enterprise reporting on community affairs in New York City\'s \"West Side Rag\" and on the Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting website.I was selected as a Reporting Fellow for the Pulitzer Center in 2020.
