Responsible for the development and oversight of strategies supporting TreeHouse environmental compliance programs at 26 food manufacturing sites. This position interacts with corporate, regional and site based Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) staff to set direction and establish priorities as related to regulatory and environmental best practices. Responsibilities also include providing environmental compliance and risk management oversight in the United States and Canada, as related to air, water and waste management. Develop and direct continuous improvement strategy related to TreeHouse environmental initiatives. Provide technical expertise and support to facilities and departments on all environmental regulatory matters (including M&A work). Develop and oversee the company’s environmental compliance auditing process. Act as a key point of contact and communication with federal, state and local regulators, and coordinate communications and actions with outside counsel and consultants (as needed).
