I am responsible of all product specifications. I have a vast knowledge of FDA andinternational testing requirements, proper testing methods, and ranges for all ourproduct lines (dietary supplements, foods, OTCs, cosmetics, personal care, essential oils, and householdgoods). I also work closely with our product development team in formulating products that will meet label claims, and regulations.I am knowledgeable in FDA regulations, GMPs, international regulatory requirements, REACH, and product claim requirements.I am familiar with analytical testing methods and instrumentation.I have developed new products, and essential oil formulations. I have created new Standard Test Methods and Standard Operating Procedures, as well as been responsible for training the appropriate personnel.I work with department heads to develop and improve processes, identify inefficiencies and gaps, and find new productive efficient ways to improve.I have had over 2+ years of testing essential oils on GC-MS. This includes sample preparation,running samples on the instrument, analyzing results, identifying unknowns, methoddevelopment, and instrument maintenance. Other responsibilities include: aiding in product development, testing of newproducts, distilling of essential oils, collaborating and aiding Quality Control Lab,science consultant, distillery tour guide, providing training on products, presenter atcompany’s international conventions, company mascot, and being an expert in allthings essential oils.
