Leon County Schools is a K-12 public school system located in Leon County, Florida. Employing more than 5,500 teachers, administrators, and support personnel, including more than sixty separate and distinct school sites and/or organizational units. Serves as Chief Human Resources Officer - Chief Negotiator and member of the Senior Leadership Team. Responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of Human Resources activities to include Talent Acquisition, Culture & Retention, Employee & Labor Relations, Performance Management, Compensation, Classification Systems, Benefits, Retirement, Payroll and HR Compliance. Supervises a staff of approximately forty-five Human Resources professionals with a Human Resources budget of more than five million per year. Oversees 190 million+ districtwide Compensation and Total Rewards budget. Serves as District’s Chief Negotiator, administering three separate collective bargaining agreements. Develops and aligns Human Resources strategy to drive a culture continuous development, readiness, and employee engagement.
