Versatile researcher and technical team leader with fifteen years of wet lab and computational experience in academic, biotech startup, and biopharma organizations. I have been applying my primary expertise in the genetics, physiology, and industrial use of yeast to solve problems in protein therapeutics discovery and engineering.I am motivated by curiosity, by developing a first-principles-based understanding of biological systems and the experimental/analytical approaches by which they are interrogated, by a love of problem solving, tool building, and the sense that what I am doing might be useful and improve lives.
