As a retail sales associate, my primary job is to sell product. Although this presents as simple, it is quite an involved task. Not only must I understand how to communicate effectively and how to work cohesively with a team, I must also possess a deep understanding of our product and its relevance in order to answer questions and to draw connections between product and customer in an effort to make sales. The retail space is about more than keeping track of stock and relevant metrics, it\'s about assisting others, formulating those invaluable connections with the people who walk through the door, all the while constantly improving upon ones sales skills.
