ABOUT BRETT HANTON

Currently a CFI instructing flight students on getting their private and commercial licenses in order to gain my ATP minimums. I plan on joining PSA Airlines once I reach my hour requirement. Working with Leidos gave me a fantastic experience in government procurement and contracts. I was able to not only work with my subcontract mentor and study her day-to-day but was able to see all other aspects of the defense group. In addition, I was able to gain a great deal of understanding of PowerBi when creating the Defense Groups dashboard. In the end, this internship was a total success from the start with learning the ins and out of the process all the way to my presentation where we presented to the company\'s Chief Procurement Officer. After the presentation, we were asked to give access to the dashboard company-wide as it was a complete success.My internship with NV Homes gave me a great experience in management within a job site. I was able to train my leadership and communication skills within the working community that I otherwise would not have received. I was one of their youngest hires in recent years and I was able to gain an unbelievable experience that most don\'t get until post-graduation.
