Brett is an executive in the commercial real estate industry where he currently serves as Senior Managing Director at CBRE with responsibilities as the Charlotte Market Leader as well as regional oversight over the Carolinas and Tennessee to more than colleagues. Brett oversees business operations and drives the market’s growth strategy for all Advisory Service lines of business, including leasing, sales, debt and structured finance, valuation, and property management.Prior to CBRE, Brett most recently served as the Managing Principal of Cushman & Wakefield\'s Charlotte, Triad and South Carolina regions. He was responsible for Cushman & Wakefield\'s overall strategy and growth in the region as well as their client focused culture. Brett has been honored as one of North Carolina\'s Most Influential Leaders in the State (20••••25) and Most Admired CEO in Charlotte (2020). He is a current or former board member, volunteer and contributor to a number of industry and charitable causes including but not limited to the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance\'s, YMCA of Greater Charlotte, Charlotte Rescue Mission, Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR), Urban Land Institute (ULI), CoreNet, Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).His experience and insight into the commercial real estate industry are instrumental in developing the firm\'s strategic growth initiatives.
