ABOUT BRETT FISCHMANN

Experienced consultant with a demonstrated history of quality, primarily in financial services. University of South Carolina (Moore) graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration double majoring in Accounting & International Business, minor in Chinese Studies. Licensed Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina. My story -I grew up in Rochester, New York. At the age of 9, I moved to Shanghai, China, where I lived and attended Concordia International School Shanghai () for four years. I then moved to Vancouver, Canada for two years, ultimately moving back to finish high school in Rochester. After attending the University of South Carolina to study International Business and Chinese, I decided to pursue a career in accounting and finance. I began my career in audit with PwC. After two years in audit, I accepted an advisory position with CFGI, the industry’s largest non-audit accounting advisory firm. Leveraging my insurance and IPO readiness experience from my time in audit at PwC, I assisted mid- and large-size companies with their processes and controls, revenue recognition, lease accounting, financial reporting, and other matters.In 2022, I accepted an offer to join EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services (“FAAS”) group. I work in the Financial Services Office (“FSO”) helping companies with accounting, reporting, tax, risk, and other problems and considerations.
