About Brett Nelson
Ever since I was young I had sense that I wanted to help and protect people. I am not really sure where it can from but it was a feeling that grew steadily over the years. I tried a few different ways to satisfy that feeling. The first was in a physical sense by being present in the community (police officer), then came a larger calling to defend a way of life and ideology (US Army), but as the world has gone deeper into a digital state of living I found the best way possible: from the unknown.I have served as a Network and Systems Administrator and Cybersecurity Security Specialist/Analyst. I have spent time learning about Informational Security Policy, Risk Management Analysis, and Information Technology Compliance procedures to include PCI DSS. I have worked as the lead and I have worked a member of a team in several different locations with many different associates. Learning a new environment and workforce is something I have grown accustomed to and have thrived every time. Success is not only a goal but a standard of doing business.
