Admitted in the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit; U.S. District Court, E.D. and M.D. of Louisiana, as well as all state courts. Mississippi and Alabama federal and state courts pro hac vice. During law school served as senior research assistant to several tenured professors of law. Published several articles in the areas of copyright infringement and international finance. Appointed as Assistant Special Counsel with the Judiciary Commission. Assisted the Louisiana Supreme Court in screening and prosecuting complaints of misconduct against state court judges and justices of the peace. Public service in the New Orleans City Attorney\'s Office. Prosecuted civil service disciplinary violations for all departments of the City of New Orleans, including the New Orleans Police Department and the Fire Department. In federal and state court, litigated claims of wrongful death and lethal force, the use of non-lethal compliance weapons, and false arrest and confinement. Litigated employment law claims involving Title VII employment discrimination, the Family Medical Leave Act, and all areas of workers\' compensation including subrogation recovery for the City of New Orleans. In Orleans Parish municipal court, prosecuted DWI and misdemeanor criminal offenses.
