About Brett Billmeyer
I am the Head of Patient Engagement for the North American Neurology team at PTC Therapeutics, a biotechnology company that develops and commercializes treatments for rare diseases. I lead a field-based team that connects with patients, families, and medical professionals who are affected by or interested in rare neurological disorders, such as Duchenne muscular dystrophy and AADC deficiency. My mission is to make every day count for our patients and empower them to access the best possible care and support. I develop and implement programs that raise awareness, provide information, and address unmet needs for diseases aligned to PTC\'s therapeutic areas. I also leverage my expertise in rare disease advocacy and education to generate business insights and inform strategic decisions for PTC\'s marketed products and pipeline development. As part of the PTC Agile team, I collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to deliver innovative and patient-centric solutions.
