About Brent Pabst
I’m a Partner in Build by McKinsey, helping organizations across industries build, modernize and scale core technology and digital capabilities to deliver business value and enable competitive advantage. I also co-lead McKinsey Digital’s software, cloud, and architecture teams globally. I have more than 15 years of experience in building and deploying digital engineering teams, designing technical solutions and developing technology modernization plans for a range of businesses, including electric and natural-gas utilities as well as financial service institutions. I love solving and explaining complex technical problems with my teams and my clients.Outside of my client work, I serve as chairperson of 203 Foundation, a not-for-profit organization focused on helping adult learners return to the workforce, specifically within the nursing field. Before joining McKinsey, I served as chief architect for a private equity-backed provider of work management systems for educational institutions, local governments, and utilities. A tech enthusiast, I hold numerous technical, agile, and product management certifications, and often speak at industry events. In my free time I geek out with home automation tech and likely automate too many things and love to go flying.
