About Brenton Cole

I have been working in the land development sector of New Hampshire for nearly a decade since graduating from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a BS degree in Civil Engineering. I began as a project engineer with McCourt Engineering Associates, PLLC, where I worked directly with the Jennifer McCourt to develop my skills in land design, CAD, and the permitting process. I transferred to a larger firm in 2014 where I earned my Professional Engineering license and became a project manager. I founded Granite Engineering, LLC with Jeffrey Merritt, P.E. which is located in Manchester. Jeffrey and I combine for more than 30 years of experience in engineering residential, commercial, and industrial site plans, roadways, subdivisions, and other related projects. I established roots in the city with my wife, Melissa, who is also a Professional Engineer in NH, and young daughter Lainey. Outside of work, I was the Vice Chairman of the Manchester Conservation Commission, and enjoy the downtown lifestyle and recreational activities that NH has to offer in all four seasons. My passion is my family and career and look forward to advancing responsible development in the Granite State.
