ABOUT BRENT PETERSEN

Tip of the Iceberg, in a minute or less: In 2016, my hard work to achieve a lifelong goal and the tireless planning to get there came to fruition, and I was able to embark on a whirlwind, solo journey across South East Asia. With only my backpack and sense of adventure for company, I bussed, trained, flew, hitchhiked, and walked my way through 9 countries in just over 10 months. With many lessons learned and valuable experiences in tow, I returned to Canada and began the latest chapter of my life, working as a Business Development Manager for EMCO, where I proudly work today. My schooling includes a Bachelors Degree in the Business Administration Program (BBA) from the BCIT School of Business with a special focus to BCIT\'s 2 year Marketing Management program, as well as my completion of their Professional Sales diploma. With a Diploma in Arts and Science from Langara College, I was well positioned to continue my education professionally and begin my career with Mercana as a Territory Manager. Participating in high level soccer for years, I have developed a competitive spirit, high work ethic, and winning attitude. Balancing my many extra curricular activities while striving for excellence in both my work and personal life are a daily consideration. My core values include: Family Friends Health Personal Success I relish a challenge and am not afraid of the hard work needed to achieve my goals.
