Brent Lillard is the CEO and co-founder of GovSmart, Inc, a leading provider of IT solutions and services for government agencies, businesses, and organizations across the United States. Under his leadership, GovSmart has grown from a small startup into a highly profitable enterprise with nearly 100 employees and more than $420 million in annual sales in 2024.Beyond his professional achievements, Brent is an accomplished Gracie Jiu-Jitsu practitioner. He began training in 2005 while attending George Mason University and earned his black belt under Master Pedro Sauer in Brazil in early 2019. Brent also co-founded Gracie Charlottesville, a thriving academy with over 500 students. The school has been named “Best Martial Arts School” in Charlottesville for the past 5 consecutive years in the annual Best of C-Ville awards.Brent is happily married to his wife, Jessica, and together they have two young sons, Locklan and Decklan. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, training Jiu-Jitsu, and exploring new ventures in technology and business innovation.

We are an authorized partner of HP, NetApp, F5, Panasonic, Dell, Microsoft, Solarwinds, Cisco, VMware, Cables to Go and many more. We provide hardware and software components and peripherals, such as, but not limited to: printers, servers, server parts, desktops, environmental monitors, cables, routers, switches, backup tapes, batteries, maintenance, and various software, software licenses and professional services. We also offer green VDI solutions that are more cost and energy efficient. We have full time high-level engineers in the areas of networking and storage.We are a HUBZone Certified Small Business and we hold a GSA schedule-70. We are prime contractors on SEWP-V, CIO-CS, and others as a HUBZone. Our 2023 revenue was over $388M with significant year over year growth. We have ~80 full-time employees currently but we are growing fast! INC Magazine rated us the \"Fastest Growing Computer Hardware Company in the USA\"​ in 2014 and Forbes Magazine rated us in the \"Top 20 Most Promising Companies of 2015\"​ overall for the entire USA.
