As a Senior Research Fellow at The Heritage Foundation, I contribute to the Center for National Defense\'s research and analysis on naval warfare and advanced technologies. With over 26 years of service in the U.S. Navy, I bring a wealth of operational and strategic experience to the think tank, as well as a strong technology background and a deep understanding of international relations. My mission is to inform and influence policy makers and the public on critical issues related to U.S. national security, maritime security, and regional stability. I leverage my skills in inter-governmental, inter-agency, and congressional relations to deliver strategic results and recommendations. I also draw on my expertise in Japanese studies and foreign languages to engage with a diverse network of partners and stakeholders across the globe.
