I am really customer focused with a “do what it takes” attitude to help close and drive new sales opportunities and customer success.Roles as a Software Developer, Professional Services Consultant, Technical Support Engineer, Trainer and Software and System Engineer, have seen me travel around the world (USA, throughout Europe, Africa and Asia) delivering presentations and workshops at conferences and discussion panels and seminars. I have also created technical workshops to introduce technologies to new and experienced IT professionals during many years in enterprise software sales as well as solution selling incorporating several technologies.As a software engineer, I have assisted development teams with GUI, Web and Mobile application development across several verticals with the use of the Progress Software portfolio of products including OpenEdge, Savvion Business Process Management, Corticon Business Rules Engine, Rollbase aPaaS. Since mid 2008 I engaged more specifically with customers looking to explore the use of Cloud technologies for various application requirements. From then and until early 2019 I was focused specifically on data access and data integration with various applications using relational databases, NoSQL databases and Big Data, focussing on standard SQL access via ODBC, JDBC and OData to various BI tools both in the cloud, on premise and hybrid environments.In 2019, focused more focused on data security and specifically Secure Managed File Transfers over the various secure transfer protocols with required encryption and certification.
