ABOUT BRENT SKIDMORE

I haven’t had what you would call a “traditional career path”, but every twist and turn along myjourney has been incredibly rewarding and has made me the person I am today. In fact, I think it is mydiverse professional background that has allowed me to develop my most valuable professional skill:cross-functional communication.My ability to understand complex technical processes and translate industry jargon from technicalstaff into every-day language for customers and non-technical professionals has been incrediblyvaluable. I used these skills in my previous job as an IT Operations Analyst, solving complex technological issues with vendors and employees, as well as in my previous role as an Automotive Service Advisor, guiding customers to make informed decisions about auto-repairs. This skill is also utilized in my side-hustle as a web developer when I’m communicating with my clients.Although I am a little late to the accounting profession, I have jumped in with all I’ve got. I completed myBachelor of Science degree in Business Information Management at Seminole State College. I am currently enrolled in the Associate of Applied Science degree in Accounting at Trident Technical College.
