ABOUT BRENT SEGELEON
Dr. Brent Segeleon is a graduate of Gannon University and received his Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2005. Not only proficient in comprehensive optometry, including the diagnosis and management of several ocular diseases, Dr. Segeleon is also highly proficient in low vision and graduated with honors. Dr. Segeleon also has experience in fitting simple and complex contact lenses for complicated, diseased and post-surgical corneas. This experience and advanced training will allow Dr. Segeleon to provide quality care for a broad range of patients at Colonial Eye Care.Dr. Segeleon is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Virginia Optometric Association, and is the current vice president of the Tidewater Optometric Society. The Virginia Optometric Association named him Young Optometrist of the Year 2013. As a charter member of the Virginia Beach Central Lions Club, he has been locally involved with his community by providing voluntary vision screenings and is a current member of the New Town Lions Club chapter of Williamsburg.Originally from Pittsburgh, Pa, Dr. Segeleon has made Williamsburg his home with his wife, Brooke, daughter Gwen, and son Ian. When not in the office, you can find him training for an upcoming triathlon or mountain biking on Williamsburg’s fantastic trails.
