ABOUT BRENT PETZOLDT
Brent leverages advanced predictive analytics and competitive rate analysis to support P&C insurers in developing and maintaining healthy price algorithms that lead to sustainable profitable growth in their specific competitive environments. He is active in developing tools and other long term customized solutions to help companies monitor and manage their portfolios, including taking a leading role in the design and management of GC’s pricing and marketing decision support tool released in 2020. In addition to building predictive loss cost models for non-catastrophe pricing, Brent regularly develops predictive solutions for a wide array of needs including claims analytics, retention management, territorial boundary determination, and catastrophe peril pricing. Brent’s extensive decade-plus experience serving personal lines clients across North America includes a particular focus on clients in the Florida homeowners marketplace. Brent is a frequent speaker on pricing and product management topics (including professionalism and generalized linear modeling theory) at Casualty Actuarial Society and affiliated organization conferences. His formal education includes a Bachelor’s of Science in Actuarial Science (Summa Cum Laude) from Maryville University in St. Louis. He is a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS), a certified specialist in predictive analytics (CSPA), and member of the American Academy of Actuaries
