Extensive experience of managing teams across academia & industry With responsibility for overseeing the operational running of the Art & Music Department at Southampton Solent University. An academic leader with over 25 years of teaching experience across a range of creative undergraduate and postgraduate courses both here in the UK and internationally. One who combines this with extensive industry knowledge to deliver both vocational and meaningful student experience, through curriculum transformation and innovative pedagogical methods. An authentic leader who promotes his teams’ contributions, thus maintaining motivation through empowerment, and one who is focussed on their ongoing development.
