Commit company resources and funding to execute projects effectively and efficiently.• Manage and execute strategies related to interface between operations, environment, and project execution activities.• Oversee, monitor and audit all aspects of project execution including Safety, Risk, Scope, Costs, Schedule, and Quality.• Approve work to address immediate safety concerns in the workplace.• Approve in field repairs or replace equipment as required.• Incident investigations.• Submit Notice of Projects to government agencies.• Participate and facilitate PMRA’s, PHR’s, JHA’s and audit for compliance.• Acquire and audit all required documents from contractors (ex. Training, as-builts, work methods, etc.)• Ensure Premobilization checklist is completed.• Audit JHA and FLHA cards in the field.• Provide Safe work permits to contractors.(ex. Hot work & confined space)• Initiate isolations and provide lock boxes to contractors.• Facilitate kick off and weekly meetings.• Review and approve timesheets.• Respond to RFI’s.• Approve change orders.• Review and approve cost projections.• Complete and distribute FWI’s for out-of-scope changes.• Perform check estimates on FWI’s, delays, and claims submitted.• In conjunction with the Project engineer, review proposed design/construction changes.• Pre & Post shift reports.• Attend all Safety Huddles.(Contractor lineups, smelter daily safety meetings.• Maintain Logbook.• Review and approve Inspections and Test Plans (ITP’S).• Closeout contracts and handover to Operations.• Lead commissioning with Operations.• Approve invoicing.• Review, modify and approve schedules.
