ABOUT BRENT H.
As a second generation entrepreneur, I grew up working in my parents’ jewellery store in Hawkesbury, Ontario. I moved to Ottawa in 1979 and opened my first business, La Maison D\'Or, in Place D\'Orleans Shopping Mall. Over the past 40 years in the business, I have had the pleasure of building an amazing team who has helped thousands of people with their engagements, anniversaries, and finding a truly special piece. In my years of being a professional jeweller, I have become a Certified Gemologist, a Graduate Gemologist and a Registered Jeweller with the American Gem Society. Real Estate has always been a passion of mine and in 2006 I started my second company, Harden Realties, and we purchased a piece of land in Rockland, Ontario. Over the past 8 years we have constructed square feet of retail. Harden Realties financed, leased, constructed and managed the plaza and in the future we look to expand Harden Realties in commercial and residential developments in Ottawa.
