I have 25 years experience as an automation controls specialist, maintenance technician, and project manager for multi million dollar companies. I have a background with a green belt certificate using lean principles in a manufacturing environment. I have experience in designing control systems and troubleshooting of processing and packaging equipment. I worked in the newspaper industry where I learned on the floor troubleshooting and predictive maintenance techniques in a high pressure-manufacturing environment. I then moved on to a job at a newspaper equipment manufacturer designing and programming electrical controls for newspaper-handling equipment. I presently work for a candy company as a project engineer responsible for assisting maintenance personel with troubleshooting equipment, implementing new capital projects on-time and on-budget for the plant, and implementing safety programs.
