I find great joy in being able to contribute to sustainable operation/design of the processes I manage, as well as fulfill my roles as a husband and father. I currently hold a Professional Engineering license for the state of Texas and am working toward getting it for IL.

   Develop efficient and operationally friendly designs for clients across the various industries, including oil/gas refining, power generation, food processing, paint resin, and heavy distillate processing. Some project highlights include- Developed P & IDs and pipe routing for several new control valve loops based off of hydraulic calculations done in Korf- Developed Korf pressure drop model for complex hexane/water separation system, identified potential overpressure scenarios and verified that inlet/outlet piping followed good engineering practices- Performed energy balances to size multiple reactors/exchangers for endothermic and exothermic reactions. Sized utility system loads- Analyzed plant process data, recommending opportunities for improvement to reduce heat and water loss- Performed line heat transfer calcs to size heat trace systems on instrument air skids.
