ABOUT BRENT BOODOOSINGH
An engineer at my core, who for over the last-two decades has played key roles in solving many fuel management and compliance problems for the petroleum industry. Trained by industry experts, I have been involved in various testing methods for tanks and line inspection. I was involved in the initial development stages of Tanknology’s API-653 inspection program which is currently being used on large above ground storage tanks across Canada. Working closely with the developers and Measurement Canada through the process of certifying calibration equipment, we certified the first closed-loop prover in Canada, which impacted industry standards. As a Director of Tanknology, a Division of Englobe, I manage and facilitate all functions of the fuel management department to ensure our team empowers our clients to remain profitable and compliant. I have been involved with many board discussions that affect the petroleum industry directly; as I continue to work closely with legislators and regulators across the country. Whether downstream or retail operations, I continue to ensure that Canada’s petroleum industry remains profitable and compliant.
