About Brennan Coslett
I am currently a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Blue River Technology, developing our core embedded software stack for agricultural robotics applications.I have a wide variety of skills with Linux-based embedded controllers, mostly using NVIDIA Jetson embedded modules and NXP i.MX processors, including board bringup on new prototypes. I spend my time working on build system integrations and improvements with systems like the Yocto Project and Bazel, which saves our organization developer time, configuration of toolchains for development on embedded controllers, and improvements for security and stability.Additionally, I have experience with RTOS like FreeRTOS for EV applications through my time as the Software Lead for the NDSU SAE Formula Electric team where we designed an Arduino AVR based controller for the John Deere PD400 Inverter, where I now volunteer as a Software Mentor.
