ABOUT BRENNAN CARTER

I ran my second marathon recently. And I\'ll be honest, I don\'t like to run at all. What kept my feet moving was a cause I could get behind: providing clean water for children in need. Being a guy who doesn\'t like to run, I wanted to quit more times than I can count. But I didn\'t, because I was committed to a mission, and I was able to find purpose outside of my own individualism.I apply those same principles to my professional life. I\'ve had the privilege most recently of working at the rapidly-growing tech company, Remodel Health. As a tech startup, Remodel is a nesting ground for innovation and achievement. But it is also a space to grow and learn what Software as a Service really means in the midst of tough decisions and a constantly changing landscape. It’s vital in this arena to be on-mission, and I’ve quickly learned that being on-mission requires service not just to your customers but to your coworkers.I highly value personal achievement and intrinsic motivation, but the best leaders are those who are able to put others before self, who strive to be servant-leaders, and who find a mission with which they can identify.And although still actively being refined, I believe those are some of my best qualities, and I\'ve continually sought out opportunities to impact others. I am skilled in interpersonal relationships, conflict management, problem solving, and advocation. I am also very detail-orientated, a quick and willing learner, and I value integrity above all else.
