Hi! I’m Brennan Beers and I am a sophomore business analytics major at Miami University with an interest in utilizing data to improve efficiency in business processes. My courses at Miami have provided me with a strong foundation in statistical analysis, data management, and business problem solving, along with hands-on work in tools like Excel, SQL, and Access.During my time at the Farmer School of Business, I have had the opportunity to work through real world projects that address challenges in the business world. In the First Year Integrated Core (FYIC), I collaborated with a team to analyze a business case using SQL to present a strategic recommendation to industry professionals. Through this program, I have learned how to effectively present a business solution, manage tight deadlines, and work well in team settings that mirror real business environments.My coursework at Miami has allowed me to develop a strong foundation in business analytics. With a focus on technical skills, cross-functional business thinking, and problem solving, I’m prepared to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations. Received product shipments in company PSA system, input shipment information in inventory control systems. Delivered product to customers and collaborated with them to fix any possible issues. Executed cabling, enrolling, and installing projects in an efficient manner to ensure deadlines were made.
