   As the Manager of Resource Planning – Maintenance & Engineering at Alaska Airlines, I lead strategic initiatives that ensure effective resource planning, and workforce reliability for over 900 Maintenance Technicians. I oversee a high-performing team responsible for optimizing labor efficiency, maintaining compliance with labor agreements, and aligning workforce planning with operational goals.I work cross-functionally with Human Resources, Labor Relations, Payroll, and station leadership to manage scheduling, staffing models, and time administration systems. My role includes evaluating workforce management tools, overseeing vendor partnerships, and driving continuous improvement through data-driven planning and performance analysis.By fostering strong union relationships, ensuring policy compliance, and enhancing labor cost controls, I help Alaska Airlines maintain a reliable and scalable maintenance operation that supports both safety and service excellence.
