Passionate about turning research into real-world impact for children, families, and educators. Education researcher with a Ph.D. in Media, Technology, and Society and 10+ years of experience leading mixed-methods studies at the intersection of learning sciences, child development, and communication studies. I translate complex data into actionable insights that inform equitable educational products, programs, and policies. Skilled in bridging research, strategy, and stakeholder engagement to drive impact for children, families, and educators. I am an education researcher with a Ph.D. in Media, Technology, and Society and over a decade of experience leading mixed-methods studies at the intersection of learning sciences, child development, and communication studies. My work focuses on how children and families use media to support learning, and how evidence-based insights can inform the design of equitable educational products, programs, and policies.I have led research and evaluation projects with organizations including SRI International, Northwestern University, and Menlo Education Research, translating complex data into actionable recommendations for educators, funders, and EdTech product teams. My expertise spans randomized controlled trials, qualitative interviews, surveys, and community-based research with diverse populations.Beyond research design and analysis, I am committed to equity-centered approaches and knowledge translation, ensuring findings are accessible and impactful for stakeholders ranging from teachers and families to product developers and policymakers.
