ABOUT BRENDON BROWN
Currently employed as an Assistant Account Executive at We. Communications, servicing Microsoft.Ever since I was young, I\'ve had a strong passion for human connection, so naturally I decided to study Communication at the University of Hartford. I feel that using speech is my way to give back to the world, and after joining the PRSSA chapter on campus, I realized my potential in the PR field. Now, as a former President of the chapter, my main goal is to continue building up the skills I need to achieve a successful career in Public Relations as well as public/motivational speaking. I\'ve continued my education pursuing an M.S. at the University of Southern California (USC) Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, where I am currently enrolled in the Public Relations Innovation, Strategy and Management (PRISM) program.Besides my professional focus, I devote the rest of my time to the same thing; making a difference, no matter the scale. I\'m a Christian, and very involved with church, from chaperoning youth events to delivering sermons myself or being on staff. Giving back has always been important to me, and I feel called to preaching because of how much other preachers and pastors have done for me. They are the reason why I even became interested in developing my communication skills in the first place. Since building relationships and encouraging others is so important to me, I also worked as an RA on campus, helping freshmen transition from high school to college.Everything has led me down this path, and I intend to follow it.
