The mission of Humanizing the Headset to be a resource and outlet for 911 Telecommunicators, and to celebrate, encourage, and uplift all the wonderful souls in this profession. I oversee a team of five who contribute to a variety of functions.Our website, which I designed, is host to a variety of tools including our podcast, blog, Yoga, personal and professional resources, store, TC memorial, and, most recently, our #ThinGoldShine Award which highlights dispatchers’ exemplary service to their PSAP and/or communities they serve. We manage social media accounts here on LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, and we have a YouTube Channel as well. 2022 Goals include fully rolling out our #ThinGoldShine Award. We’ll also be expanding our blog to match our podcast to have consistent and regular delivery of new content each month. We\'re always on the lookout for guest bloggers and podcast guests as well.
