Hey, I\'m Brendan! As a design system specialist, I pride myself on being able to see the entire picture before diving into a task. I think long-term and build strong foundations that are resilient to change. I have extensive experience with Figma and helped build out an entire design system from scratch, and strongly support the use of atomic design principles. Working with design systems has taught me to always think of a scalable solution, not just the quickest or easiest.I also do a bit of coding, which I studied in college and have used in each of my roles over the past 6 years. but I prefer to keep that as my secret weapon.Outside of work, I live in an RV with my wife and dog and am passionate about sustainability and personal finance.    Joining as the primary Figma expert during a design migration, I led the evolution of our design system from a single-product tool to an enterprise-wide standard for 100+ users. I architected a library of 40+ advanced, variable-driven components that prioritize responsiveness and multi-app scalability.Beyond design, I bridged the engineering gap by pushing updates directly to the frontend Storybook library via Git. This end-to-end ownership transformed our workflow into a code-synced ecosystem, ensuring consistency from the initial canvas to the final production build.
