As Taxonomist, I am responsible for the upkeep of all Eyeota and Dun & Bradstreet audience taxonomies. My responsibilities include the mapping of data into said taxonomies using my own taxonomy rules, creating audience segments based on business needs and market value, removing segments based on performance and changes in the market, writing guidelines and policies for the upkeep of said taxonomies, and determining the correct organization of our segments and how they are related to one another. I have lead a year long project o refresh on eof our taxonomies with new segments, removing outdated/underperforming segments, and updating the segment terminology and definitions. My contributions in creating and understanding the linguistics of our segments have helped earn D&B and Eyeota tremendous business value in the Ad Tech market.
