ABOUT BRENDAN HOPKINS CERT
Having spent over 12 years within the commercial insurance industry, I decided to take a small break and follow a lifelong passion, entering the world of football coaching through studying a degree in football coaching and Development. Successfully graduated with 1st class honours from the University of South Wales. During my studies I was presented with many great coaching opportunities, with Cardiff City FC where I managed one of the development centres and more recently where I continue to develop at Cambrian & Clydach BGC Academy as head of the foundation phase.Whilst maintaining a strong knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry, my time within football and sports development allowed me to gain a strong insight on how sports organisations operate and the gap in where underinsurance can often arise. FAW/UEFA B License holder
