About Brendan Hartlove
Brendan Hartlove is a graduate of the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism with a degree in broadcast journalism. As a play-by-play broadcaster for WMUC Sports Radio and BTN Student U, he has called over 100 games across seven different sports, including soccer, basketball, field hockey and lacrosse.In addition to his play-by-play broadcasting, Brendan’s work extends beyond the broadcast booth. In February 2020, he joined D.C. United of MLS as a Digital Video Production Intern, responsible for filming and editing creative content. He also assisted in the technical production of live-to-tape pre-game shows for the club.
