ABOUT BRENDAN YERKES
I am a former Social Media Producer for Newsday, where I spent 7 months as a temp employee. It has been an outstanding experience creating content, scheduling posts and actively running the Newsday social media pages. My original goal was to one day make it as a sports talk host. However, I am now focused on a career in the social media/content creation and am looking to grow in that area with any potential opportunities. My end goal is to work with sports. I also serve as a broadcaster for LI Sports Network, calling various amateur hockey games surrounding the New York area. After receiving my degree from Hofstra University in December of 2024, I am fully fledged into my media career and looking to grow every day.Currently, I am seeking my next opportunity in social media and content creation. My dream is to work in sports media, but I am willing to take on any role where my skills can be utilized.
