ABOUT BRENDAN WALSH
As a student studying Finance at the Grenon School of Business at Assumption University, I would describe myself as someone who is always looking for new and innovative ways to explore my interests and passions. At Assumption in my spare time, I partake in Student Government Association as the Treasurer for the Class of 2024. As a class officer, I help plan fundraisers for our class, attend monthly student senate meetings, and listen to the concerns of my peers for improvements they wish to see around Assumption\'s campus. Additionally, I take part in the Financial Investment Group as the portfolio manager. We meet on a weekly basis and invest funds that we have received from generous alumni. As a student in the Grenon School of Business, I am also Bloomberg certified, so I am familiar with investment software as well as Microsoft Excel. Overall, my Assumption experience has helped expand my knowledge in the investing world and allowed me to grow my comprehension of the workings of the everyday market.
