About Brendan McCluskey
Brendan McCluskey is the founder and president at Trident Builders. He has developed and managed construction projects throughout New England, Colorado, and the Mid-Atlantic region. He is an expert at ‘green’ building practices across commercial, residential, and institutional market sectors, as well as having considerable experience with renewable energy development. As a seasoned entrepreneur and a proven executive manager, Brendan is equally adept at designing a creative solution as he is at developing and executing a complex project plan. Brendan has extensive construction and real estate development experience, managing roughly $350M in aggregate project value. He has delivered buildings that are home to premier biotech research laboratories, multinational corporate headquarters, urban high-rise residential apartments, 5-star resort and hotel accommodations, world class museums, and educational environments for students that range from pre-school up to Ivy League academic institutions. Brendan has performed as either developer or construction manager on nearly a dozen LEED certified buildings and planned communities, including Platinum, Gold, and Silver awarded projects.Having operated in both the contractor and ownership representative roles, Brendan understands the various interests to be protected in any real estate development project. He takes special care to understand the client’s best interests, including those that are clearly stated as well as those that require inference and investigation to determine. Brendan is a graduate of Eckerd College (BA – Business) and a MBA graduate of University of Massachusetts Amherst Isenberg School of Management. Brendan is a LEED AP, a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and a PHIUS Certified Builder (CPHB). He is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10ksb program and serves as an ambassador for the program. He is vocal advocate for small business both with the Goldman Sachs team and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Small Business Council.
