Ensuring the effective implementation and monitoring of the HSEMS, according to international and Hitachi Rail standards, to guarantee HSE compliance with strategy. • Ensuing the implementation of the Hitachi Rail activities in compliance with HSE Policies, HSE Legislative requirements, HSE Customer Requirements and the HSEMS of the project, and the GBMS. • Ensuring that activities of Hitachi Rail and subcontractors are compliant with HSE Legislative requirements, HSE Customer Requirements, and the Hitachi Rail HSEMS. • Ensuring the definition and monitoring of Geographic budget (cost and headcount), according to the local demand (projects and department) and rules. • Ensuring the HSE auditing and monitoring of the projects and Countries performances. • Ensuring the estimation of the HSE effort/workload from the bidding phase, to the Design, Construction phases until O&M phase, to comply with HSE contract needs and local HSE laws. • Ensuring the identification of the Country and projects HSE training needs of all departments, to develop the HSE competencies of resources and the growth of Hitachi Rail HSE Culture. • Support certifications audit in the region. • For all functional reports, Regional HSE: o Coordinate and Provides HSE guidance and best practices; o Collect data related to incident/near miss and analyse trends; o Conduct HSE Audits; o Involve in HSE business improvement project; o Provide standard approaches and global tools.
