About Brendan Gallo

I started with Redmond Construction as a laborer/equipment and material distributor in 2018. During this time I was responsible for providing on site laborer aiding numerous jobs, as well as, tracking and administrating construction equipment across all Redmond projects. At the same time I was attending Northeastern Illinois University, perusing a degree in Finance. In the summer of 2022 I transitioned from the field into the role of Estimating Intern. After my internship I have continued in a estimating role as an Estimating Coordinator. In which I spend my time doing reviewing RFPs, issuing ITBs, reviewing drawings, preforming takeoffs, formulating RFIs, tracking bid opportunities, attending walk-thrus, and using excel to level trade partner proposals.In the summer of 2024, I transitioned from the estimating team to, active constriction as a Project Engineer. I am apart of Redmond\'s Sciences, Technology, Special Projects team. I continue to manage the preconstruction process for my active projects, lead the creation and administration of RFIs in coordination with onsite labor, and oversee submittals and material procurement. I also support project managers with financial tracking, assist the project team in developing schedules, and coordinate onsite sequencing to optimize workflow. In December of 2024, I graduated in with a B.S. in Finance major. Notably I spent 5 semesters with the Investment Society Club. In which I held numerous titles including Treasurer, Vice President & President.In my free time I cherish spending times with family and friends, curating music, woodworking, watching sports (go Sox!) and practicing martial Arts.
