About Brendan Flugstad

My name is Brendan Flugstad, and I am a second-year Finance major, while also minoring in Sports Management at Miami University in Oxford. I love to work with other like-minded individuals who share the same passion for business and sports as I do. I am actively looking for a summer internship for the year 2026. I’m a motivated college student with a strong interest in business and sports. Through my coursework and hands-on projects, I’ve developed numerous different hard and soft skills, and I’m eager to apply them in real-world settings. I enjoy taking on challenges, collaborating with others, and learning from new experiences. My goal is to gain meaningful relationships with others that will help me grow, contribute value, and prepare for a successful career. I have had the great opportunity and privilege of studying at the Farmer School of Business, and during my time at this institution, I have enhanced many of my skills, including but not exclusive to collaboration, time management, and proper presentation etiquette. The First Year Integrated Core Client Challenge, Entrepreneurship Shark Tank simulation, and Market Games have greatly impacted my work reception in a real business-type feel. I am excited for my next chapter at Miami University and eager to learn more than ever before. Thank you for your time and consideration.
