About Brenda Kozsan
In my career in higher education, I have several years of experience in advising, admissions, teaching, leading and supporting the academic, personal and professional development of students. The Clarkson School is an early college program at Clarkson University that allows bright, motivated students to complete their senior year of high school and their freshman year of college simultaneously.My core competencies include designing and implementing personal and professional development programs and workshops to enhance students\' efficiency, interests, and skills. I also oversee the school\'s activities, budget, and generate revenue through high school aimed programs. I evaluate and coach students on their college application process to Ivy League institutions, highly selective universities and colleges throughout the country and internationally. Recent student admits include Yale University, Princeton University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College and Brown University.In addition, I hire, train, and supervise a team of peer educators, tutors and mentors. I teach a First Year Seminar class focusing on \"The 7 Habits of Highly Effective College Students\". I have received multiple awards for my service and dedication to my profession. My mission is to empower students to achieve their full potential personally and professionally.
