Brenda Colella is a member of the firm\'s Project Development, Energy and Regulatory Practice Areas. She brings twenty years of experience representing clients in the energy sector, particularly with respect to the siting approval, construction and financing of large linear projects, including electric transmission line and pipeline projects, as well as representing clients in every facet of project development. She regularly assists clients with site acquisition, right-to-build issues, construction and other project development agreements, as well as with project financing, including tax mitigation measures such as payment-in-lieu-of-tax (PILOT) agreements and development incentives. Brenda has been actively involved in supporting energy and other project development projects, as well as counseling both established and emerging businesses on a myriad of issues. Her experience includes representing clients before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the New York State Public Service Commission, other state public utility commissions, and various local municipalities.
