Started my Husqvarna career in the Shipping Department. I was moved to the Receiving Dock as the Supervisor, in charge of making sure every truck was unloaded in a timely manner and the material was placed in the area that it was supposed to be stored. Also in charge of setting up, and starting an off site Service warehouse in Mcrae. It was set up to store all service parts until we were ready to send to our Orangburg plant, where orders were pulled and filled for our customers. I was asked to take over as a Plastics Supplier in house Representative. I filled this position for a few years, until Husqvarna decided to go away from an in house Representative for plastics, at that time I went back to the plant as a Material Planner for 30 different Suppliers. in 2002 my responsibilities changed to be Material planner for parts for the Walk behind division, keeping up with the production requirements, producing PO\'s with Suppliers lead time. Staying in touch with our Engineer\'s, and Quality department at Husqvarna and the Suppliers, for changes to their parts, use up, or issues with the quality of the product we are receiving. I really enjoyed working with the customers in the plant, and with R&D Engineers, and the various Suppliers.In 2016 I moved into the Engineering department to be the Supervisor over the Bill of Materials, Barcode and Pre-Pilot department while continuing to work with the plant assembly and R&D Engineering. In July of 2018 I was promoted to be the New Product and Process Leader to oversee the introduction of new products and processes in the plant while working with R&D Engineers and the plant Manufacturing Engineers.With the McRae Plant closing I was asked to transfer to our sister plant in Orangeburg SC. I am starting a new chapter in life and adding to my Husqvarna product knowledge.Sometimes you need more and that is what I was seeking and what I found at TTI. A company growing in leaps and bounds.
