Provided oversight to a diverse range of country programs and regions in East and Southern Africa in the fields of Maternal New Born Health, HIV/AIDS, Family Planning, Reproductive Health and Policy work. Extensive skills in donor relations, having worked with projects funded by the US, British, Danish governments. Handled an annual portfolio of over USD 120m / year and supervised highly skilled professionals in the public health arena. With both overseas and US experience in project management and now Human Resources, I have a niche for bridging gap between country teams and Head quarters to enhance team work. I have the ability to integrate program management and HR knowledge and skills, thereby adding value consistently to the HR practice.
